Sunny South India Tour

09 Nights / 10 Days to  Delhi - Bangalore - Mysore - Bangalore - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram - Tanjore - Trichy- Madurai - Chennai
Day 01: Arrive Delhi Traditional welcoming on arrival at the international airport and transferred to the hotel. Overnight in hotel.

Day: 02: Delhi - Bangalore
Breakfast at hotel. Full day guided sightseeing of Delhi. Same day transfer to airport for flight to Bangalore in evening. Upon arrival in Bangalore, transferred to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 03: Bangalore
Breakfast at hotel. Full day guided sightseeing of the Garden City of Bangalore with its numerous avenues of Jacaranda, Gulmohar and Cassia. Visit Bull Temple and Tipu's Summer Palace. Afternoon drive past numerous parks and Vidhan Soudha and downtown commercial centre. Overnight in hotel.

Day 04: Bangalore - Hassan - Mysore
After breakfast, drive to see Belur (220 kms/5 hrs) and other temples, proceed to Hassan (38 kms/45 mins) for lunch. Afternoon visit temples of Halebid (17 kms/25 mins) and proceed to Mysore. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Mysore - Bangalore
After breakfast, drive back to Bangalore (139 kms/3 ½ hours), via Sravanabelgola. Evening transfer to airport for flight to Chennai. On arrival at Chennai, transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 06: Bangalore - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram
After breakfast, drive to Kanchipuram (1 hr.) - the erstwhile capital of the Pallavas and Cholas. Visit its numerous temples dedicated to various gods and goddesses. It is also home of weavers of the famed Kanchipuram silks. Lunch at Kanchipuram. Evening drive to Mahabalipuram (60 kms / 1 hr & 30 mins) and check into the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Mahabalipuram - Trichy
Morning visit the temples of Mahabalipuram. After breakfast drive to Tanjore (5 hrs). Afternoon guided tour of Tanjore temples. Late evening drive to Tiruchirapally (Trichy) (54 kms / 1 hr & 15 mins) and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 08: Trichy - Madurai
After breakfast, visit the temple of Trichy. Afternoon drive to Madurai (128 kms / 4 hrs) and on arrival transfer to the hotel. Evening free to explore the bazaars. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09: Madurai - Chennai
After breakfast, city tour visiting the temples which are a city within a city built in the Dravidian style - one for Shiva and other for spouse Meenakshi. Also visit Teppa Kulu, a tank with an island temple. Late evening transfer to airport for flight to Chennai and on arrival transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 10: Chennai - Back Home
After breakfast, visit Fort St. George, War memorial, St. Mary's Church, the oldest Anglican church, East of the Suez, Marina Beach. Afternoon visit Basilica of Saint Thomas, believed to have been built by St. Thomas, the apostle. Also visit the Snake Park. By evening transfer to international airport for flight back home.
