Buddha Land Tour

DAY 01 - DELHI
Arrive in Delhi and transfer to hotel.

DAY 02 - Lucknow/ Balrampur
Early morning leave by coach/car/train to Lucknow. Upon arrival a coach/car drive to Balrampur.

DAY 03 - Shravasti/Lumbini
Morning excrusion to Shravasti and then continue drive to Lumbini.

DAY 04 - Lumbini/Kushinagar
After breakfast visit Lumbini, birthplace of Buddha. Afternoon drive to Kushinagar

DAY 05 - Kushinagar/Patna
Morning visit to the sal tree and Remabhar stups where the body of Buddha was cremated. Drive to Patna.

DAY 06 - Vaishali/Patna
Day trip to Vaishali where Buddha preached his Last Sermon. Return to Patna in evening.

DAY 07 - Patna/Rajgir
Morning tour of Patna, Continue drive to Rajgir via Nalanda to see ruins of the ancient Nalanda University.

DAY 08 -Rajgir
Visit Buddhist stupa at Rajgir and ruins of Ajat Shatru's fort.

DAY 09 - Bodhgaya
Morning drive to Bodhgaya and check in at hotel. Afternoon free to meditate in this holiest spot of Buddhism.

DAY 10 - Bodhgaya
Full-day visit Mahabodhi temple, Bodhi tree and throne.

DAY 11 - Varnasi
Drive to Varanasi and check into hotel.

DAY 12 - Varanasi/Sarnath
Early morning visit Ganga, bathing ghats and boat ride. After breakfast drive to Sarnath. Afternoon take flight to Agra.

DAY 13 - Agra/ Fatehpur Sikri
Full-day sightseeing at Agra, visit Taj Mahal, fort and Fatehpur Sikri.

DAY 14 - Bhopal
Morning travel to Bhopal by Shatabdi Express. Arrive and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 15 - Bhopal/ Delhi
Early morning drive to stupas, surrounded by railings with four regal gateways. The torana gateways are richly ornamented, with carvings of the life of Buddha. The Ashoka Pillar, with its capitol of four lions, is here. The monasteries date from the 4th to 12th century AD. Afternoon departure for Delhi.

DAY 16 - Delhi
Daylong tour of old and New Delhi, visiting Humayun's tomb, Rajghat, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Parliament House and Qutab Minar.

DAY 17 - Delhi/Abroad Transfer to airport to catch onward flight.
